Department : New Jersey Medical School (NJMS), Department of Preventative Medicine & Community Health

The Biostatistics Laboratory, located within the Department of Preventive Medicine & Community Health, New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) provides a home for biostatisticians located within NJMS. It provides services to biomedical and laboratory researchers located primarily at the New Jersey Medical School, but also within other Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences schools and generally within the Northern New Jersey area.

Department : Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine (CABM)

The CABM Structural Bioinformatics Laboratory carries out structure and function studies of genomically-defined protein targets. The lab uses both NMR and X-ray crystallography, along with computational methods, to address questions emerging from genomic and functional genomic analyses. The lab also develops software to automate structure determination by NMR methods. It is one of the principal nodes of the United States Protein Structure Initiative.

Department : New Jersey Medical School (NJMS)

The Center for Advanced Proteomics Research (CAPR) is equipped with state-of-the-art proteomics instruments and bioinformatics systems for protein structure and function analysis.

With a grant from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), CAPR is able to operate the NeuroProteomics Core Facility within CAPR. NINDS-funded investigators of Rutgers University can receive proteomics services from this Core at no or reduced cost.

 

 

The Center for Genomic Informatics (CGI) applies cutting-edge computational approaches to enable and enhance genome-based biomedical and clinical studies for researchers at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School.
